Fill is solid with transparency and a drop shadow. I’ve turned on the baseline and documents grids. The first baseline grid lines-up with the unknown line (red rather than grey this time because of the pink fill). The two other unknown lines show up further down and continue into the drop shadow.

Image one shows a 100% red fill with a drop shadow. Image two is a solid fill that has had the opacity reduced. Image three is a photo screened back in opacity.

Every time I open a new document the same thing happens. The colours can be RBG or CMYK. No spot colours.

The grey lines don’t seem to match up with anything … neither the document grid nor the baseline grid if I turn them on to view.

Any help would be appreciated. I have no idea where to look next.
