What You’ll Find in Our Health, Nutrition, & Safety Section

As a pet sitter, the day-to-day care of the animals falls to your client. But when they’re not home, health and safety is up to you. We recommend taking courses in Pet First Aid and Canine Self Defense if possible, and brushing-up on general care for dogs, cats, birds, and any other animals you advertise your services for.

Clients might come to you with questions…they often do… but remember to refrain from giving any advice that you know should come from a veterinarian!
